Faceless Time
Time has not a face
Emotions you cannot Understand
Because time and time again it is quite pathetic
Thinking it considers You
The hands tick slightly but with so much vigor Performing only for those who take a hold of it
Even the wise lose time
The Rich
The fools and the Poor
It really doesn’t care
It is indeed faceless
Like a mirror you stare as your day ticks away
Or you work hoping it be merciful
It is never sluggish nor swift
You own the pace
It owes you nothing
It remains the same
Time remains
You pass away
It cries not nor laughs
It just stares, though faceless
Who can be King over it?
