A pot of soup and a bowl of water doesn’t take the same time frame to be prepared even under the same conditions. Changing your principles because others get away with it doesn’t work because when both results are off the preparation stage, it becomes obvious who did well. You are not ‘others’ so don’t compare yourself to them.
