MY CHILDHOOD STORY
I grew up in a neighborhood
Where we had to cut through woods
And eat fresh foods
So we could be in the mood.
Summers were like candies
But addictive like brandy
We had to wait every year
So we could swim in the air
Going to school was boring
We repeated the same routine every morning
Entering each class with fast breathing
For the fear of uncle’s beatings
Discipline was in the curriculum
We were punished like pendulums
Our good-bad status couldn’t regulate
Who can relate ?
To my Childhood story.
