MY KITCHEN, MY DERMATOLOGY LAB
EPISODE 2.
Hi Dearest readers. Hope your week started off on a good note. The last episode was about getting a healthy glowing skin, which is a good thing, obviously. I hope youtried out the recipe. Send in your comments if you did.
So, what else is as important as getting a healthy looking skin?
You guessed right! It is getting off “Sun Tan”.
You see, sometimes after some minutes under the sun you begin to notice that your skin starts to look darker than it was when you were under the shade.
It’s all because of the melanin production in us which absorbs light and makes us appear darker under the sun. This is what makes us easily tan.
If it bothers you that you don’t look the same compared to how you looked in the shade then you might want to keep on reading.
First things first, drink a lot of water.
Reducing the amount of red meat intake helps too because according to studies red meat increases the melanin production in our system.
And just in case we are in the fight against sun tan *wink* -let’s get pratical about it.
Step 1: Mix coffee ground in bowl with equal amount of water
Step 2: Apply With brush on the affected part, wait for 15-20 minutes then rinse off.
OR
use lemon juice on the part exposed to sun to fade out the tan.
Lemon is known for its bleaching properties and helps in making your skin look brighter and radiant.
NOTE: Use this 3-4 times a week. And don’t forget to workout.
