Dear Steve and Samantha,
As Christians, we don’t start a relationship just to “flex” we start a relationship with marriage in view and because we know it has a great influence on our destiny. Yes, a lot of things must happen before a wedding/marriage comes into the picture. An unbeliever may decide to do this differently, but as Christian’s how we handle and start a relationship must be faith-based. It is wrong to borrow unbelievers’ methods and then read few bible verses, pray and fast on it to make it “godly”. In addition, if that fellow wouldn’t serve God with you it simply means he/she is not God’s will for you. Shalom!
